The extensive Serenity Plus concept features á la carte and fine dining at 4 of the 5 restaurants (the 5th restaurant offers buffet meals which are also included), a huge selection of internationally branded drinks, including champagne by the glass from 6pm and a complimentary spa treatment.   Shandrani Beachcomber Resort & Spa offers guests three beaches to enjoy, a fantastic spa, loads of free land and water sports, there’s some great snorkelling just of the beach in the surrounding Blue Bay Marine Park, a pitch & Putt Golf course and a choice of spacious accommodation.

Room

All rooms and suites at Shandrani Beachcomber Resort & Spa are spacious and spread out amongst the award winning gardens; no room is far from the beach. All rooms, apartments and suites include; Individually controlled air-conditioning, private bathroom with bathtub, shower and W.C, king size or twin beds, minibar, safe, hairdryer, international direct dialling telephone, free WIFI, television with satellite channels and complimentary tea & coffee facilities. Non-Smoking Policy: All rooms, restaurants, bars and public areas of the hotel are non-smoking areas.

The open plan Superior Rooms have a great location close to the main facilities and reception. The Superior Beachfront Rooms have a fantastic beachfront location to the left of the main building.

Dining

Quality and choice is what the Serenity Plus Fully All Inclusive concept at Shandrani Beachcomber Resort & Spa is all about. All of the superb restaurants are included in the package including four restaurants which offer á la carte or fine dining. There's champagne by the glass from 6pm, an impressive wine list including over 40 carefully selected wines, soft drinks and imported spirits. There's poolside and beachside service and importantly, for you, no need to sign for any of this - it's all included! Classic Serenity offers everything that Serenity Plus offers except for the free massage and there is a supplement of £15 per person to dine at Teak Elephant and Le Boucanier. Occasionally the hotel may use one of its restaurants for a group booking and post-Easter to September the hotel may close two of its restaurants.

Le Grand Port

Le Grand Port is the hotel's main restaurant offering mouthwatering Creole and Oriental influenced buffet-style cuisine from a number of 'live' cooking stations. The restaurant has wooden decking which extends down towards the beach, around the pool plus also offers lovely views over the pool itself and lagoon.

Porto Vecchio

The Porto Vecchio has a fantastic, lively atmosphere and serves delicious Mediterranean á la carte cuisine at its location right in the heart of the hotel's entertainment area.

Le Boucanier

For something special, Le Boucanier isserves a weekly fine dining menu focusing on seafood specialties in an intimate garden setting - fish cooked and served in a bamboo parcel shouldn't be missed. Available for guests over 12 years old and open between 1900 and 2200.

Unlike other holiday destinations and hotels, at all of the Beachcomber hotels in Mauritius many of the land and water sports are free for guests - including water-skiing. Over and above all of the standard land and water sports, Shandrani also offers a Sailing School, a Kitesurfing School and the Beachcomber Sports & Nature Programme.

Sports Centre

Located at the heart of the hotel gardens, not far from the tennis courts, guests will also enjoy the modern sports facilities and activities* on offer at the sports centre. Professional instructors and supervisors are on site to guide guests and are also available for individual or group classes for the activity of your choice. Sport-lovers can choose from aerobics, steps and cardio training, just to mention a few, to ensure they keep fit throughout their holiday. A relaxing trip to the sauna, located within the centre, is a great way to finish any workout.

Land Sports

To make the most of the natural surroundings, Beachcomber has created an exclusive eco-tourism programme called Beachcomber Sports & Nature (BSN). Kayaking, canyoning, boat excursions and bicycle rides are some just of the ways guests can discover the island.  A range of outdoor activities* is available to guests of all ages. Tennis lovers will be delighted to play a match on one of the six floodlit courts and amateur golfers will enjoy a round on the 9-hole "Pitch & Putt" golf course located within the resort.

Water Sports

For guests looking to simply enjoy the beauty of one of the finest lagoons of the island pedal boats, kayaks and hobie cats are available for a relaxing tour. During a glass bottom boat trip or a snorkelling outing, guests will get a closer look at the colourful underwater world. Enthusiasts and beginners will find what they are looking for to make the most of the inviting waters. A diving centre,  affiliated to PADI, offers initiation and classes to beginners and regulars. All activities offered at the boathouse, sailing club and diving centre are supervised by experienced instructors.

Mini Club

Available to kids aged 3 to 12, Shandrani's kids club is housed in a Creole-style pavilion set in the tropical gardens.  The interiors consist of a large room divided into smaller activity corners. Singing, dancing, drawing, painting and making collages are some of the many activities planned for children who enroll at the club. The Shandrani mini club is run by qualified professionals who provide fun, but also educational, indoor and outdoor activities to keep your little ones entertained and happy.
