Serene and Private Maldives Resort. One&Only Reethi Rah offers 130 private resort villas well separated along the shore, either on the beach secluded by lush tropical greenery, or set above the clear, protected waters of the lagoon. One&Only Reethi Rah Maldives accommodation features 130 private villas discreetly placed along the shore – with 98 Beach Villas secluded by lush tropical greenery, and 32 Water Villas set above the clear, protected waters of the lagoon. Amongst the largest resort villas in the world, each is detached, expansive and equally luxurious. Designed with a contemporary elegance, each of our Maldives accommodations have a stylish feel combined with a diverse Asian influence, blending clean lines with the skillful use of natural materials such as coconut shell, sea grass, silk, rattan, teak, mahogany, terrazzo and thatch. Generous exterior spaces range from beach verandas to private swimming pools and large over-water decks. Each attended by a personal Villa Host, all villas feature flat screen television with satellite channels, surround sound, DVD/CD player, iPod docking station, customised private bar, luxurious bathrooms with oversized bathtubs and dressing area. Comforts include 30cm posturepedic mattress, 300 thread-count Egyptian cotton linens and towels, extensive 24-hour villa dining. For Grand Beach, Grand Water and Duplex Beach villa guests, a personal buggy and Bose ‘Lifestyle 18’ surround system are also provided.

Enjoy direct views of the ocean and a private stretch of beach from the bed. Beach Villas feature either one King-size or two Queen-size beds, oversized bathtub, indoor and outdoor showers, and a 26m² veranda offering a versatile exterior living space. (135m²/1,453ft²) 

Water View Queen Guest Room

These villas are the same size as the Beach Villas, and feature netted wraparound hammocks suspended over the water on the outer rim of the deck allowing for breezy sunbathing or relaxing stargazing. (149m²/1,603ft²)

Reethi Restaurant

A temple of exquisite dining, the dramatic design of Reethi Restaurant frames the natural beauty all around and the stunning cuisine, impeccable service and low-key ambience within. An eclectic menu fuses flavours from Asia Pacific and the Mediterranean into a light, contemporary cuisine. Floor-to-ceiling glass screens reveal the ‘open-concept’ show kitchen, and a walk-in wine room with an extensive collection doubles as a private dining room for special events. Rah Bar

Swimmers and sunbathers needn’t move far from the main pool to partake in the amazing menu at the adjacent Rah Bar. An all day menu of healthy salads, wraps and snacks also offers low-fat smoothies made with exotic fresh fruits and vegetables, a variety of waters and a fresh juice station. With the fall of evening, Rah Bar is transformed into a vibrant cocktail bar with live music, cool martinis, tropical cocktails, sparkling champagne and a fine collection of vintage rums from the Indian Ocean and Caribbean islands. Tapasake

This over-water venue combines incredible sunset views with modern Japanese cuisine. For the purist, the chef hand-picks ingredients ensuring sushi and sashimi meet the highest standards. The menu features superb fish and seafood, fresh from the Indian Ocean, transformed into Indian-Japanese tapas. In addition to a selection of premium Sakes, the wine lists concentrates on the worlds’ best Rieslings. Fanditha

Hidden on the northern tip of the island is the sensual Fanditha. This exotic, beachside spot serves an a la carte Mediterranean cuisine – accompanied by the finest selection of chilled rosés and champagnes. At the lounge area, guests may laze on divan-style bolsters and Arabic carpets, on bamboo loungers or in woven hammocks. On selected evenings, there are late-night parties under the stars with live DJ entertainment, creating a chill-out ambiance amidst chandeliers dangling from trees. More than 900 labels from some of the finest wine producers throughout the world are on offer at One&Only Reethi Rah. Stored in two temperature-controlled walk-in wine cellars are more than 9,000 bottles from the famed regions of California, the châteaux of Bordeaux, the lush wineries of Australasia and the winelands of South Africa. The Wine Cellar doubles as a Private Dining Room and is ideal for special events and private get-togethers.

Excursions

North Malé Atoll is alive with possibilities for those who wish to explore a little further afield.
