Overview

This day tour explores the oceanside town of Horseshoe Bay and BritishColumbia’s 3rd highest waterfall at Shannon Falls. Participants ascend 840 m to the top of the new Sea-to-Sky-Gondola in Squamish, cross the 50 m suspension bridge, and take a mine train ride through history at the Britannia Mine Museum. The coach tour may be combined with an exciting Sea Safari (Deep Fjord Zodiac Tour). Beginning with a coach pickup from downtown Vancouver, participants visit Horseshoe Bay before boarding a 9 metre rigid-hull inflatable boat for a Sea Safari guided nature tour through Howe Sound - North America’s southernmost fjord. The tour views wildlife up close it passes through Pam Rocks, a harbour seal ‘haulout’ where harbour seals play, and also includes stop at a bird sanctuary to observe the diversity of marine birds including the bald eagle. Other animals that might be seen on the tour include loons, herons, cormorants, and dolphins. Upon arrival at Britannia Beach, the tour rejoins the group on the coach, continuing on to the Britannia Mine Museum, Shannon Falls, and the Sea-to-Sky-Gondola in Squamish.Minimum age 5 for the tour including the Sea Safari (Deep Fjord Zodiac Tour)
