Tuscany

Award-winning Tuscany is known to be the best Italian restaurant in Muscat and not without reason. Excellent seasonal menus created by Chef de Cuisine Fabrizio Valdetara and his brigade are on offer in a classic and romantic setting. Specialty menus from regional areas of Italy are featured, along with different menus for each new season using only the finest and freshest produce available – the essence of authentic Italian cooking. Stand out dishes include those from the Piedmont region in Italy, the home town of Chef Valdetara. A wide selection of fine wines is available, and the restaurant also features a wood fired pizza oven. The unique private dining room is perfect for more intimate celebrations and events.  In addition the large outdoor terrace overlooking the Arabian Sea is a wonderful place to spend an evening in the winter season.

Mokha Cafe

Grand Hyatt’s all day dining restaurant serves International fare and also specializes in Arabic cuisine. A relaxed setting overlooking the hotels gardens is offered with both buffet and al la carte menu options presented by Executive Chef Marin Leuthard and his brigade. The restaurant hosts special theme nights throughout the year featuring cuisines from around the globe. The fun and family friendly Friday brunch here is not to be missed, with special activities on offer for children to keep them entertained. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available depending on the current season. 

Marjan Indonesian Restaurant

Authentic Indonesian cuisine is presented at Marjan, in an al fresco setting by the sea. Marjan offers an Indonesian menu in the evenings, as well as light lunches by the pool and a selection of sushi and sashimi.   A wonderful place to enjoy this specialty south-east Asian cuisine created by Marjan’s head Indonesian Chef. Fresh dishes are on offer such as wok fried prawns, grilled fish in banana leaf and coconut curry. Perfect for larger groups or families the traditional java rijsttafel menu features a series of dishes to be shared around the table. In addition to Indonesian the specialty sushi menu is also popular, with platters available featuring the freshest of ingredients for larger groups.

Safari Rooftop Grill House

Muscat’s premier al fresco venue is open in the winter months, serving succulent grilled fare in a fantastic setting overlooking the Arabian see. An innovative combination of both buffet and al a carte dining is on offer for one all-inclusive price. Select from a range of salads, soups and starters on the buffet, and then take your pick from an a la carte menu featuring a selection of succulent steaks, specialty game meats and freshly caught seafood. Unlimited selected beverages such as beer, wine and spirits are also included in the package. Seating up to one-hundred people the Rooftop is also the perfect venue for celebrations for larger groups as well as private events.

John Barry Bar

This exclusive piano bar is located just off the Lobby. With its nautically themed interior steeped in historical reminders of the SS John Barry Ship, this bar is a truly unique venue. A range of aperitifs and after dinner-drinks is on offer and in addition a selection of fresh Tapas is also available. The resident duo sets the mood for the evenings, playing a wide repertoire of soft jazz, blues and R & B. In the cooler months the outdoor terrace looking out to sea makes for a fantastic setting for sun down drinks.

Club Safari and Habana Sports Bar

Set in the three-story Safari Entertainment Complex the Safari Pub is located on the middle level of the venue. Offering a fun and relaxed atmosphere this is where the resident band can be heard playing till late, with Happy Hour specials from 6:00pm to 10:00pm daily. The traditional African Safari themed pub also offers a selection of ‘pub grub’ fare in addition to a wide range of classic beverages. The Habana Sports Bar is located on the ground floor of the complex and features two large pool tables and cosy seating areas. A wide range of international sporting games and events are screened here throughout the week, along with monthly pool competitions and seasonal promotions.

Copacabana

Muscat’s premier nightclub, Copacabana is decorated in a style reminiscent of the carnival atmosphere of Rio de Janiero. With a resident DJ on the decks spinning a mix of R&B, Hip Hop, Dance and Techno. Copacabana opens till late and is the ideal venue for party goers. Listen to the latest club tracks and dance until the early hours in style. This trendy nightclub also hosts various theme nights and events. It is located on the ground floor of Grand Hyatt Muscat and is open every night except Sunday and Friday.

Sirj Tea Lounge

Seated under the silk-draped tents in the opulent lobby of Grand Hyatt, Sirj Tea Lounge offers specialty teas, Arabian coffee and an array of light dishes. Seasonal specialties include an array of homemade ice-creams in the summer, along with a year round selection of fresh fruit juices. During the afternoons and evening a resident pianist plays creating a truly special setting. Sirj also offers a fabulous High Tea menu in the afternoon, perfect for special celebrations or just to enjoy with friends.

Grand Hyatt Muscat features a very nice, temperature-controlled swimming pool with lazy river and toddler splash pool.

Golf

This is Oman's first 18-hole Par 72 PGA-standard championship golf course.
