Visit the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park, located by the Lake Gardens, which boasts the world’s largest free-flight walk-in aviary housing some 3,000 birds, representing more than 200 species. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to feed the birds and catch a bird show.Continue to the nearby Orchid Garden, which showcases over 800 varieties of orchids, including exotic species, which thrive abundantly on one hectare of floral paradise. Look out for the mouse deer or ‘kancil’, which is the world’s smallest hoofed animal and a beloved figure in local folklore due to its legendary wit.Finish the tour in the breathtaking Butterfly Park, home to some 6,000 butterflies from more than 120 species. The park is an imitation of a butterfly’s natural habitat, with over 15,000 plants recreating a Malaysian rainforest atmosphere.
